I'd love to see a template that shows a reading schedule that guides me to completing the four standard works in a designated period of time, a year or two years. It could follow the SS Lesson schedule (but without skipping any chapters or books) or the seminary reading schedule. It could have options for multiple readings of the Book of Mormon. It would allow me to customize according to my own chosen reading patterns.

Dear Bro. Dehlin,
may'be this is not the right forum to ask you for help, but we have exhausted all avenues we are familiar with to fix a problem we have in loging into my wifes new family search account.
first of all... what is the web address for accessing the accounts/lds.org???
If I stop here and wait for your reply it may help us find a way to restructure my wifes account.
kindest regards

I would love to have better search options from the "Search Gospel Library" link. Something similar to a google search would be great! If that's not possible, I would love to be able to search on 2 or 3 words ... for example, find a verse or chapter which contains word1 AND word2 AND word3

It would also be really neat in the search tool to just search one of the standard works, or just one of the books in the standard works, rather than having it search all four. For instance, I would just like to search on "word1" in the Book of Mormon, or I would like to search on "word2" in 1 Nephi.

Thanks!

1. From http://seminary.lds.org we are having troubles loading the Scripture Mastery scriptures onto a 4Gig Zune, some of the individual MP3s always come up missing after we copy them over to the Zune.

Here's what we did: we downloaded the zip files for each of the Seminary years, unzipped them, then when we dropped them into the Zune, anywere between 3 and 12 of the individual MP3s were missing. For instance, from the Book of Mormon, after we dropped all 25 of the scripture masteries onto the Zune, the really big problem was that Moroni 10:4-5 went missing. So, we copied Moroni 10:45 over by itself, but then somehow Moroni 7:45 went missing on the Zune. So, then we copied over Moroni 7:45, and Moroni 10:4-5 went missing on the Zune. So, for some reason both of those files can't seem to co-exist on the Zune. In addition. 2 Nephi 2:27 or 2 Nephi 2:25 (I can't remember which) , and 3 Nephi 27:27 were also missing from the original copy of the 25 Book of Mormon MP3s over to the Zune. We had to manually copy each one of those over (not as part of a group), and that worked for those two.

We are having similar problems with each of the other 3 Scripture Mastery MP3 sets. Doctrine and Covenants is giving us the most problems with only being able to load 9 of the 25 onto the Zune.

If you have any solutions for this, please e-mail me!

Look at what e-bay does when you upload an auction picture that is too large, it auto-resizes it FOR you to the appropriate size/ width dimensions. The site simply says: "too large" or even worse, displays no message at all?

The website picture directory needs to be able to upload a picture greater than 135 x 180.

If the church is supposed to be about families how can you see an entire family of 8-10 people and still distinguish their faces with 135 x 180 pixels?

Higher resolution, or even limiting the picture by filesize would be fine. Even 50Kb per picture would be MUCH better than this artificial size limit

I would be happy with a synch between the ward computers and the church website. If someone adds an email address, for example, in MLS system, it doesn't get updated on the website and vice versa.

There needs to be a way to put in more than one email address per person in MLS (like the website)

I would love to see the LDS digital scriptures more usable. I have numerous notes that I would like to transfer to my digital scriptures next to the appropriate verse, not on a separate page. It would be wonderful if you could also do this in the TG, BD and Index where I also have many handwritten notes. I don't expect to just transfer my scrawls. I am more than willing to re-type everything. I would also like to highlight or underline in different colors.
This needs to be available on a regular PC, not just PDA's.
