Online Tech Talks

August 24, 2008 | By Joel Dehlin | 6 Comments

A year or so ago we did some “tech talks” in California, Washington and Utah where we got together with techies to discuss technology at the Church. We’ll be doing this online this week. This one is for people interested in technology and how the Church uses it.

More information here.

I was hoping the church would allow limited high speed internet at more buildings for faster access to genealogical sites.
We have come along ways since I was a ward clerk using DOS based WP to create ordination certificates. What is being used now?

Oh and when will the Church webinar about technology begin?

Great TechTalk! Thanks for answering so many questions. I’m surprised it ended so quick and didn’t take the whole time, but I appreciate the effort.

Where will the presentation be posted? You supplied so many links, will those be made available as well?

Thanks again!

I just finished participating in the webinar…great Q&A! Any idea how many people logged in?

Thank you for sharing so much. It’s always exciting to see the direction things may be heading. My complements to you and your staff.

Joel, I apologize for posting this request as a comment on your blog, but I wasn’t sure how else to contact you. Will you please post the announcement at the following link to your blog? I believe it will be of interest to your readership. Thanks.
